Good Grief Travel Is Finally Published

I didn’t originally set out to write a book.

After losing Sunn in 2023, I mostly just started moving. Traveling. Saying yes to trips I probably would have talked myself out of before. Some of it was intentional. Some of it was simply trying to keep life moving forward when everything felt strangely still.

Along the way, I started writing things down.

Airport thoughts.
Conversations with strangers.
Observations from China, Bangkok, and random coffee shops.
Memories from earlier chapters of life that suddenly started resurfacing again.

At some point, without really meaning to, those notes slowly became a manuscript.

And now somehow, it’s an actual book.

Good Grief Travel is officially published and available on Amazon:

The funny thing is, the book probably isn’t really about travel as much as people will expect. It ended up becoming more about grief, reinvention, connection, and the importance of continuing to participate in life even when it stops following the script you thought you were on.

More than anything, it’s a reminder that sometimes the best thing you can do is simply get out the door.
